Zenescope Entertainment
Founded in 2004, Zenescope Entertainment is a graphic novel and comic book publisher whose most popular title, “GRIMM FAIRY TALES,” envelopes the fantasy and horror of the infamous tales popularized by the Grimm Brothers (Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, etc…). Zenescope founders Joe Brusha and Ralph Tedesco have combined their efforts over the past year to create a number of new comic book series, including RETURN TO WONDERLAND, a dark twist on the infamous “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll. Brusha and Tedesco started the company with the focus of presenting a diverse comic book and graphic novel line that will please core fans as well as introduce its books to a mainstream audience. In 2006 Zenescope signed a deal with New Line Cinema to publish two incredible titles based on hit films, Final Destination, Spring Break, a terrifying five-part mini-series where a group of college students find themselves being stalked by death, and Se7en, a thrilling seven-issue mini-series tackling each of the seven deadly sins. Zenescope staffs artists and writers such as Lan Medina, Raven Gregory, Josh Medors, David Mack, Leif Jones, Tommy Castillo and Al Rio, as well as various up and coming illustrators that complement both the series and novels with stylized graphics and superb penmanship, revolutionizing the style of comic books.
